It’s her husband, Jason Olson, who escalated the whole situation, refused to comply with officers, and was dragged away in handcuffs. After the $95 million Brian Kelly disaster and a $54 million buyout, Landry stepped in and said enough is enough. He made it clear Scott Woodward won’t be hiring LSU’s next coach. And while the cleanup is long overdue, there’s a dark side to this new power play.

Because here’s how the chain actually works:

➡️ The Board hires the university president.
➡️ The president hires the athletic director.
➡️ The athletic director hires the head coach.

One man now controls the entire ladder — from the boardroom to the locker room. That should terrify anyone who believes in separation between government and sports.

Today it’s accountability. Tomorrow it’s control. Once politics steps on the field, it never leaves.
