This is why I was a little busy today!

The Department of Education was born in 1979 — and ever since, kids have been getting dumber while the bureaucracy’s been getting fatter.

Billions of dollars later, reading, writing, and arithmetic scores are back to where they were before the Department even existed.

The only thing that’s grown? The number of D.C. paper-pushers who “manage” education while never setting foot in a classroom.

Now Trump just axed 20% of that dead weight — and predictably, the media’s melting down, claiming “special-ed kids will suffer.”

Spoiler alert: states run those programs. This scare tactic is just bureaucrats fighting for their paychecks.
