The “practical” part of USPSA shooting is meant to hone our practical application of firearms in staged real world scenarios. While many of us have taken advantage of our USPSA matches to get proficient with our pistols, outside of shooting in 3 Gun competitions there haven’t been many ways to get that same real world training using long guns.
