Legally Armed America is proud to announce a partnership with award-winning metalcore rock band Devil You Know. The agreement incorporates Devil You Know’s distinctive music throughout the cable and web-based television show, Legally Armed America.
President of Legally Armed America, Paul Glasco, says “we’ve always featured high-energy music in our show to ratchet up the excitement, so an alliance with Devil You Know is right on target for us. With their dynamic mixture of extreme metal and hardcore punk music, Devil You Know captures the same raw thrill we present to our television audience through firearms-related content. The visceral chemistry of their music is the perfect accompaniment, and adds to the electricity of our show,” he said. “We’re ecstatic to be aligned with them,” says Glasco. “Plus, their music kicks ass!”
“Back in 2007 I befriended a guy named Zoltan Bathory from a little-known band called Five Finger Death Punch to provide our theme music,” Glasco said. “Now they’re world-renowned superstars. Devil You Know is charting a similar path to success making us all the more inspired to be partnered with them,” he added.
Devil You Know vocalist reveals, “the band’s collaboration produces music that is dense, forceful, and brimming with raw urgency. We see the same passion in what Paul Glasco does on Legally Armed America. I speak for each of the band members when I say we’re ardent supporters of the shooting sports lifestyle, and zealous Second Amendment supporters. We’re pleased our songs are woven into the Legally Armed America show, and see our presence as an extension of our support for firearms and the outdoors,” the Band adds.
Devil You Know is currently signed to Nuclear Blast Records, and they have two albums; The Beauty of Destruction and They Bleed Red. Howard Jones (vocals), Francesco Artusato (guitars), and Ryan Wombacher (bass/backing vocals), took home “Best New Band” at Metal Hammer’s Golden Gods Awards in 2014. Devil You Know recently announced their North American tour dates for the fall of 2016. For more information on the tour that begins in Seattle on September 26, please click here.
“Songs from both albums are built throughout the Legally Armed America TV show,” says Glasco. “Work on the third full-length album from Devil You Know has begun, so stay tuned for more gripping music from them,” he said.
