This Ares SCR rifle is going to cause the gun grabbers to regroup!
According to their own website, the ARES SCR™ blends strength, reliability, and accuracy with the rugged weatherproof characteristics of America’s longest serving infantry rifle and the classic lines of an all-American sporter. I say it’s a game-changer that has probably already sent the agenda-driven gun grabbers running around screaming in circles like their hair is on fire.
The SCR features a MIL-STD 1913 flat top upper receiver fully compatible with most modern optics and accepts most Modern Sporting Rifle accessories and parts including magazines, upper receivers, barrels, bolts, handguards and optics- so it can be easily reconfigured for each shooter’s style and activity.
But one of the biggest features this rifle sports is a good ol’ fashioned rifle/shotgun style butt stock. Since an AR-15 requires a buffer tube with a recoil spring in it to handle the recoil of the bolt carrier group cycling rearward as it’s fired, to remove a collapsable stock on a standard AR leaves you nowhere to handle the gun’s recoil. The butt stock on the SCR features a slanted recoil spring that leans down and back during recoil.
Oops. Dump a bucket of water on a gun grabber when you see them to put the hair fire out. We will anxiously await our request to test a rifle from Ares and get that video out to you as soon as we receive one!
